BYLAW NO. 2873

A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of dedicated road in
exchange for portions of land to be dedicated as road.

Whereas the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of
road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia;

Whereas the Registered Owner of the lands described in Section 3 of this Bylaw have agreed to
convey land to the City in exchange so that it may be established as an addition to the roads in
the City;

And Whereas the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in
exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening,
straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

Now Therefore the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Kingsway/Gately Road Exchange Bylaw,
1994, No. 2873".

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the
Registered Owner of Remainder of Parcel A, Reference Plan 61557:

a 4 m2 portion of Rem. Parcel A, Pian 61557, identified as Parcel "3" and shown
within the bold outline on a plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia
Land Surveyor, dated the Sth day of January, 1994; and

in New Westminster District, at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for those
certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to dedicate:

a) a74 m2 portion of road dedicated by Plan 3106, identified as Parcel "1" and shown
hatched on a plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia Land Surveyor,
dated the 5th day of January, 1994; and ;

b) a59 m2 portion of road dedicated by Plan 3106, identified as Parcel "Q" and shown
hatched on a plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia Land Surveyor,
dated the Sth day of January, 1994.

in New Westminster District, at or for the price or sum of $28,157.62 and in exchange for
that certain parcel or tract of land described in the preceding Section hereof.
