THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BYLAW NO. 2503

A Bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan of “JUN 25 1990
The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.

WHEREAS an Official Community Plan was adopted by the “Official Community Plan

Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162”

AND WHEREAS an amendment to the Official Community Plan has been prepared and

after First Reading of this Bylaw the Council has:

(a) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the most
recent capital expenditure program under Section 266 of the
Municipal Act to ensure consistency between them;

examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the
Economic Strategy Plan entitled "Port Coquitlam Industrial
Development Strategy” to ensure consistency between then;

determined that no applicable waste management plan exists for
consideration;

determined that the amendment to the plan does not affect the
District of Coquitlam, The Corporation of the District of Pitt
Meadows, or the Greater Vancouver Regional District.

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

Section 1 of the "Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" is
amended by striking out the word “both” and inserting in its place the
words "and the Development Permit Area Map marked Schedule 'C', all”.

Schedule "A" of the Bylaw is repealed and the Schedule "A" attached to and
made a part of the Bylaw is substituted therefore.

Schedule "B” of the Bylaw is repealed and the Schedule "B" attached to and
made a part of the Bylaw is substituted therefore.

The Bylaw is further amended by adding, after Schedule “B: the Schedule
"c" attached to and forming part of this bylaw showing the location of
Mandatory Development Permit areas.

The Schedules "A", "B", "C” referred to in Sections 2, 3, and 4 and
identified as Schedule "A", Schedule "B", and Schedule "C" are attached to
this Bylaw and made a part hereof.

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Official Community Plan
Amendment Bylaw No. 17, 1990, No. 2508".
