Carried. Alderman Keryluk voted against the resolution. The City Clerk advised Council that the application for Building Permit that was the subject of the previous resolution was now available for examination and that the Building Permit and the plan submitted therefor were now available for inspection and consideration by the Council. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: WHEREAS an application for Building Permit has been made by Rastad Construction Limited for Lot 22, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan 3106, New Westminster District, being 2532 Kingsway Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C.;3 AND WHEREAS it is the opinion of the Council that the development proposed therein is at variance and in conflict with the provisions of the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1979, No. 1651"; NOW _THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Senior Building Inspector be and he is hereby instructed to withhold the issuance of a Building Permit for a period of thirty (30) days. Carried. Alderman Keryluk voted against the resolution. Discussion then ensued. Moved by Alderman Lakineg: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the City of Port Coquitlam contact the Union of British Columbia Municipalities with respect to an appeal to the Courts regarding the City's now quashed Zoning By-law No. 1628. Carried.
