A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Cocuitlam, B. C. on January
léth, 1978.

His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Alde. ; " Keryluk, G.R. Laking,
E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and . . Traboulay in attendance.

Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock,
City Engineer YV.G. Borch, P. Eng., Planning Officer L. Lee, City Treasurer
J.G.S. Maitland, Deputy Fire Chief J. Boileau and Mrs. D.L. Vyse.

That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council held en
January 9th, 1978, be taken as read and adopted.

Alderman Mabbett advised Council an amendment should be made to the Amndmnt to

Sr. Citizen's
resolution made by Aldermen Laking and Traboulay at the January 9th, Activity Centr

Exten. Resol.
1978 Council meeting regarding the Senior Citizen's Activity Centre
Extension, as follows:
That the above named resolution be amended to read: "That a building
committee be struck to include the present Leisure Activities Committee
with the addition of the City Engineer plus two representatives from the

Senior Citizens from the community."

That the resolution made by Aldermen Laking and Traboulay at the
January 9th, 1978 Council meeting regarding the Senior Citizen's Activity
Centre Extension be amended to read as follows:

That as recommended by the Leisure Activities Committee January
5th, 1978 in order to proceed with detailed drawings of the Senior

Citizen's Activity Centre Extension the following proposals be approved:

THAT a building committce be struck to include the present Leisure

Activities Committee with the addition of the City Engineer plus two

representatives from the Senior Citizens from the community;
