Council Revenue Sharing Grants to Terrace from the province will total $445,216 for 1986. Ter- race council received the information at the April 14 meeting in a letter from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs. The grants total about $13,000 more than those received by Terrace in 1985. Mayor Jack Talstra remarked, ‘‘] guess it’s better than a kick in the pants.”’ The funds will be received in nine monthly instalments from April to December of this year. For the $50 ticket, the ladies received a three- course meal and each of the guests received a complimentary wine glass and long stemmed rose, complements of Flowers a la Carte.
