Eichorst had previously submitted a request to have his property on Copper Mountain, which currently includes a cement plant, subdivided to allow him to sell acre lots. That request had been deferred since the regional district currently has a moratorium on zoning until a complete plan is available for the entire region. Kichorst explained that his firm is planning an ex- pansion to the cement plant and will need additional water supplies, but that this can’t be done unless the cost was shared by others who wish to build within his proposed subdivision. : SANDING DISC ASSORT. A year and a half is the an- ticipated time that the ‘moratorium will last. Fichorst also suggested that there is a real need for large lots in Thornhill such as those proposed by his subdivision plan.
