Genstar Parksite No. 5
(Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting February 15, 1994)

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Parks & Recreation Department proceed to hold a public information
meeting on the plans for Parksite No. 5 on Wednesday, March 16, 1994 from
7:00-9:00 p.m., (location to be announced).

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

The Parks & Recreation Committee is working with Genstar and School District #4 in
developing an overall park plan for Parksite No. 5, Parksite No. 3 and the Hazel Trembath
school site. The Committee has been working with Genstar and the School District the as
well as with a citizen's committee from the Citadel area. We are now ready to proceed to
a public information meeting on the proposed plan. The Parks & Recreation Department
is proposing to hold a public information meeting on Wednesday, March 16, 1994, (place
to be announced). Genstar will also be in attendance to help present the plan to the public.
