A regular meeting of the Municipal Coun-il of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitiam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitla
City Hall on Monday, October 27th, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. cE

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, J.J.
Keryluk, G.R. Laking, WW. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance,

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Cierk R.A.
Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng. and Director of Community
Planning W.A. Brown,

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES:

seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That the minutes of the Regular Counci! Meeting held on October 20th,

1986, be taken as read and adopted.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr Gordon Ray, Executive
Director of Fraser Valley Regional Library who then made a presentation
to Council regarding the Regional Library System.

PZ/04/86/ 10/27/08

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. E. McFarland,’ 2128
Prairie Avenue, who then made a presentation to Counci! regarding her
concerns with the development variance permit issued to 2130 Prairie
Avenue and stated they want the house moved. Mr. D. Lynk, 2144 Prairie
Avenue advised he feels misted as he was told the development variance
permit procedure could not be done and therefore did not increase his bid
to purchase the property.

That the comments during the presentation regarding the development
variance permit Issued to 2130 Prairie Avenue be referred to the
Administration Committee.

That City Council adopt the following procedure of Informing
neighbours of the date for Council consideration of a variance permit:

A notice is to be mailed, informing residents of properties
surrounding a development variance application. he notice would intorm
them of their right to attend Council and express their opinion about the
