THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Bylaws of the Union of 8. C. Municipalities

be amended to allow each municipality including the City of Vancouver,
excluding regional districts, to send only one half of the number of Aldermen

and the Mayor to each U.B.C.M. Convention;

AND 3€ IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that Regional Otstricts be permitted to send each
electoral area representative. .

RESOLVED that the Executive of the U.B.C.M. bring forth for debate at the 1982
Convention, proposals that would substantially reduce the amount of delegates
to U.B.C.M. Conventions, while at the same -time maintaining equitable

representation for all member municipalities and regional districts.
