February 17th, 1975 Alderman Ranger introduced a By-law to provide for payment of an indemnity to the Mayor and Alderman of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam for the year 1975. Ald.Trabouiay re Alderman Traboulay advised he had read in a newspaper article that funding of adult safety patrols the Government of British Columbia had come through with funds for adult safety patrols, and the City Administrator advised that a letter had been written to School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) asking if this item was in the School District's budget. Mrs. K. Whiting, a member of the press in attendance, advised that the sum of $35,000.00 had been allocated in the School District's budget for adult safety patrols, effective March Ist.
