APPROVE DUES INCREASE

gin, the referendum ballot for
a $1.00 dues increase.

The increase, which raises
the dues to $5.00 per member
per month, will now allow the
officers to better service the
Local, Salter stated.

IWA members on strike in
the Interior are to receive a
Christmas bonus. The regional
executive board approved a
motion granting the married
strikers an additional $20 at

Christmas plus $3 for each de-
pendent. Single strikers will
receive $10.

The board also authorized
tthe Local Unions to hold

XMAS BONUS FOR STRIKERS

Christmas parties for the
strikers’ children. The cost of
such items as hall rents,

candy, oranges and nuts will
be paid from the strike fund.
