As you also know, our opposition was rejeatad by the registrar and the road cancellation will be gotng ahead with the Best Western entering Into a covenant with respect to some of the problems mentioned by the residents of Bridgman Avenue. an 7 | One of the things which the Best Western will not be taking care of is drainage. During the several discussions between the _ residents and the City, the residents were assured that the City would take care of their drainage problem if wa could not get the Developer to do it. | or a nee ne A en ett pee a PEs ts Stace The problem is a lower area on Lot 119, owned by the City, as shown on the attached sketch. This low area dratns by way of the unused» road allowance towards a catch basin at the East end. The extension of fill from the parking lot wil] cut off some of this flow “so that the ponding will be even worse on Lot 119. Our Intention, if Council! approves this Project, is to clear the brush off Lot 119 and bring In flll to ralse the level and prevent the water from ponding. We would also have to do some ditching elther in the remaining road. allowance or in the lane In order to allow the water to run off PE a A EP Sen te BORE enc ENO Ee
