October 6th, 1975 A Special In Camera Meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C. on October 6th, 1975 at 10:00 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, @ E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, and M.A. Thompson in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., and City Clerk R.A. Freeman. Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the proceedings of this Council be conducted In Camera with all persons excluded except members of the Council, Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., and City Clerk R.A. Freeman. Carried. Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock and City Engineer V.G. Borch outlined various problems that had arisen in connection with the employment of David N. Lockwood as Assistant City Engineer and a discussion ensued. Moved by Alderman Lakine: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: Be it resolved that David N. Lockwood be discharged from his position as @ Assistant City Engineer as, in the opinion of Council, reasonable cause ex‘sts for discharge; but that he be given a gratuitous payment of three (3) months salary in lieu of notice. Carried unanimously. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That this Special In Camera Meeting do now adjourn. Carried. At 10:45 p.m. the meeting adjourned.
