From the Public Works Committee, April 7th, 1975, referring to a P/Wks.Comm.re Anglia-Norco letter dated February 3rd, 1975 from the Anglia-Norco Bicycle Club Bicycle Race requesting permission to hold a bicycle race in Port Coquitlam on May 4th, 1975, and advising that the R.C.M.P. have been informed of the proposed event. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee, April 7th, 1975, the Anglia-Norco Bicycle Club be permitted to hold a bicycle race in Port Coquitlam on May 4th, 1975, in accordance with the specifications outlined in a letter from that organization dated February 3rd, 1975. Walker, K.B.Walker, Secty.Anglia Secretary of the Anglia-Norco Bicycle Club, who was in attendance, Norco Bicycl Club re pro- advised that the bicycle race will commence at 11:00 a.m. and finish at 2:30 p.m., rather than start at 12:00 noon and finish at 4:00 p.m., as stated in the Club's letter; also, the PEE WEE races will not now be held due to actions brought against them in Ontario. Mr. Walker further requested permission to have the Stop sign regulation at the corner of Prairie Avenue and Cedar Drive relaxed for the duration of the race, and the City Engineer suggested that this intersection could be monitored by the R.C.M.P. along with personnel from the Club. Mr. Casson of the Greater Vancouver Housing Corporation then displayed Wm.Casson, GVHC-displays a model of the development proposed to be constructed on Coast Meridian model, etc.- Housing Dev. Road (referred to during consideration of By-laws Nos. 1369 and 1370 Pst Meridian oa earlier in the meeting), and advised that the project will consist of
