a "Certificate of Verification" (or equal) together
with the manufacturer's (inventory) “Inspection Report",
after the components of all fire alarm systems incor-
porating annunciator panels, have been inspected and
verified to meet the manufacturer's specifications and
the Building Code, and the whole system or applicable
portion thereof has been tested. by the manufacturer,
owner and installer.
In addition to the requirements in subsection (d) of tliis Section,
a “high building" coming under the provisions of the Provincial
Code shall undergo prior professional field review and monitored
testing to substantiate in writing the operation and suitability
of the following devices:
(1) by the Electrical Design Engineer, the components
of required communications systems; emergency power
sources; exit and corridor lighting; emergency lighting;
circuits and electrical control devices for elevators,

ventilation, pressurization, smoke control and automatic

fire suppression systems; and other applicable monitoring |

systems;

by the Mechanical Design Engineer, the components of all
‘systems for air handling, smoke control, exhaust, pressur-
ization, automatic fire suppression, Fire fighting vater
supnly and pumps.

Cf) The owner of every “hivh building" as set out du the VProvinetal
Code shall have prepared and reproduced onto durable material:
an epproved “Inventory Control” with an illustrative
legend locating ald fire emerpency ovotenss

a "Preventative Maintenarea and
supplement, designed for the fire emerpency
components and systems;
a comprehensive "Fire Safety Plan" approved by
the Fire Chief for communication; evacuation and
operation of the fire emergency systems;

(iv) a "Maintenance Log Book" designed to meet the

intent of clause (1i)..
