Re Commonwealth Machines Comments: The Committee discussed the letter from Mr. Roskell dated Sept. 7/72 dealing with the possible subdivision of Lot 17 on Kingsway and Tyner. The letter specifically outlines eight general points discuss however, the Committee took exception to the following: Light Industrial zoning however order compatable uses in the area — (1) The Committee did not guarantee they are prepared to support an application in could evolve. (2) The Committee agreed that two only access roads would be desirable upon approval of the Traffic Committee. (3) The plan submitted was agreed to in principle only subject to the access revisions and lot orientation requested. The Committee is under the impression a new plan will be submitted. (4) All services and requirements will be in accordance with the Subdivision By-law. (5) Municipal services are available as per the Subdivision By-law. (6) The estate proposal will be subject to Design Panel approval and adequate Landscaping will be required. fhe other two points were as outlined in the letter. The Committee recommends a letter from the secretary of the Committee be sent outlining the exceptions as above. Ltem II FOR INFORMATION ONLY Re Dawson Construction. : . : A further meeting with Mr. Teit of Dawson Construction was held in order to determine the types of uses expected in their proposed relocation of the operation to the Kingsway Pitt River Area. Mr. Teit was informed that the Poco Trail would need relocation sanitary sewer contribution is expected in the amount of $20,000.00 to $25,000.00 and that a site plan would be cequireé in order accurate enigneering information could be evolved. Discussion on their operation included a possible asphalt plant, office and equipment storage and repairs. Further information is forth coming and will be presented in the up coming meetings. Comments: Item IIL Re: Acquisition Inquiry. Comments: An application to purchase an existing gazetted road allowance as shown on the attached map has been received. You will recall several years ago a road closure was under taken but was not processed beyond the inquiry stage as agreement with adjacent property owners could not be acheived. In light of the fact the adjacent owner has inquired as to the lands status we should possibly process the closure again. , ° The Committee recommends that a road closure by-law be under taken.
