ANNUAL

GENERAL MEETING

The Guild held its Annual General
Meeting on Thursday, January 24th,
1991 at the Granville Island Info
Centre, with an attendance of about
30 members.

Reports were made by Tam Irving,
President, Kathryn Youngs, Treas-
urer (See page 5 for Financial State-
ment), Jan Kidnie, Office Acmints-
trator, and Coralie Triance, Gallery
Manager. Following discussion of
the year's activities and possible
future developments, a motion was
made and adopted by the member-
ship in attendance that the fees for
Guild membership be ralsed com-
mencing forthe 1992 year to $25.00
for individual members and to
$40.00 for group memberships. The
increase is largely for the purposes
of meeting increases in postal rates
and production costs for the News-
letter.

Dave Doble and Helen Robertson
were appointed scrutineers for the
eounting of ballots for election of
officers to the Board of Directors.
Elected to the Board for the coming
year were Rosemary Amon, Bob
Kingsmill, Dona Nabata, Friederike
Rahn, Terry Saimoto, and Debra
Sloari.
