Anyone who can run a mile in just over six minutes is in a lot better future respect. | _ This was the first year for the Seniors? Mile and the field was small, but you can be sure they’ll be back and records will ‘be made, 7 _ The Seniors’ Mile was set in ' three.categories — the (age) 45 to 54 run, the over 54 run, and the walk. Les Annandale won the first’ category of only six minutes and a few odd seconds, with Ken Radford close beliind. In the next category Bud Kirkaldy ted Neil Nordstrom across the line, and the walk was won by Rusty Ljungh. Each was awarded a trophy for their effort by organizer Arlene Bergh and each will be back next year — with a chal- lenge. Slip on your jogging suit or stay out of the way.
