A meeting of the Environmental Protection Committee was held in the Second Floor Meeting
Room, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlatn, Wednesday, January 8, 1992 at 5:00 p.m.

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES

The Minutes of the Environmental Protection Committee Meeting held on Wednesday,
December 18, 1991 were considered, read and adopted.

Unfortunately, the delegation did not arrive for the meeting. This has now been rescheduled to
January 15, 1992.

OTHER BUSINESS

Adontion of Oddev
Chairman directed that a letter be written to Myra Ross and Tiffany Andrea Ross-Fletcher
regarding the adoption of Oddey. The City and the EYC are very mindful of the habitat
and will try to arrange construction and activities to accommodate the bird's mating
seasons.

Environmental Tip

Chairman asked that the Engineering Department reviesv with the Clerk the possibility of
placing an environmental tip on each ot'he Council Agendas. A designated space or area
could be agreed upon and the Engineering Department, tltrough the BPC, would provide
the tips.

Christmas Tree Dispttsal

Conunittee requested that representatives of the Fireman's Union be utvited to a
meeting with EPC in late February or early March to discuss the 1992 Christmas
Tree disposal question, in advance.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
