Wheeler Recreation Managez/Deputy Director Braille Business Cards (Five Star Committee - September 16, 1993) Recommendation: That the Mayor, Councillors, City Administrator and Program Coordinator - Special Populations have their business cards (or a portion thereof) put in braille form. Background Information: In an effort to continue to improve access to City services for "visually challenged" citizens we are recommending that the business v-ards used by the Mayor, Councillors, City Administrator and Program Coordinator - Special Populations be put in braille form. A nuinber of other communities, including the City of Vancouver and the District of West Vancouver, use the braille form for their business cards.
