Smith, P.Eng. Development Manager Dear Sir Re: Alternate Power Supply Booster Pump Station I refer to our telephone discussion of 1987 06 23 at which time you directed that we undertake a review of the power supply routing to the booster pump station. The review is required as a result of a: request mans oy the Council of the City of Port Coquitlam at its meeting of 198 ° The power supply for the booster pump station can follow three routes to reach the station. These are shown as Routes A, B and C on the attached sketch and are further described as follows. Route A Route A provides for three 75 mm ducts from the intersection of Castle Crescent and Citadel Drive through to the pump station. The ducts would be contained within a 3 metre right-of-way adjacent to and paralleling the back lot lines of the homes fronting on Castle Crescent. The ducts are to be buried one metre deep. Concrete encasement would be provided along that portion of the route that follows the back lot lines to protect against accidental excavation. This route was specified in the construction cantract now underway. The contract specifies a total working easement of a 6 metre width. The completed works would be a permanent solution. o « off
