Rate Group Calculation — B.C. Telephone Company

Attached are copies of material recently received by Mayor Laking from the
North Delta Ratepayers Association respecting the practice now followed by
B.C. Telephone Company, and approved by the Canadian Radio Television
Telecommunications Commission respecting the calculation of rate groups.

Mayor Laking recommends that Port Coquitlam write the C.R.T.C., and demand
that the Commission force British Columbia Telephone Company to implement
actual mileage ac against the present method of calculating mileage from
co-ordinates,
