A by-law to authorize the City of Port Coquitlam to repeal certain
provisions. of "Port Coquitlam Land Acquisition add Lane Dedication By-Ienw, 1946",
to dedicate certain property within the City of Port Coquitlam for Jane or highway
Purposes and to dispose of. certain property within the City of Port Coquitlam.

WHEREAS under the provisions of Section 533 (2) of the Municipal Act
R.S.B.C. 1979, c.290 (the "Act") the. Couneil may by bylaw without the assent of the -
electors dedicate real property owned by the municipality for highways;

AND WHEREAS under Section 536 of the Act’ the Council may sell the
interest of the City in real property not required for municipal -purposes aud which
is not reserved or dedicated ;

AND WHEREAS it is necessary to repeal certain provisions of "Pozi
Coquitlam Land Acquisition and Lane Dedication Bylaw, 1946' in order to dedicate
certain property required for Lane or highway purposes;

NOW THRREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitian, in opon meeting assembled, enacts as follows: .

1. “The “Port Coquitlam Land Acquisition. and Lane Dedication Bylaw, 1946"
(the."1946 Bylaw") ois amended 3
(a) by Striking out the Plan attached to and forming part of the 1944
Bylaw, and

“(b) substituting therefor the bylaw Reference. Plan attached to and

forming part of this Bylaw.

That certain Property known.as ALL AND SINGULAR:

(a) All those portions of Lot .4, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan

3106, New Westminster District being a 23.1m* portion shown as

Lane and a 48.7m- portion show as Road, both included within a

heavy black outline on a reference plan certified by Robert .M.
“Reese, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated. the 25th day of Nay
1981, a copy of which is attached hereto.

(b) 41] those portions of Lot 5, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan 3106,
