on bonspiel on Jan. 27 weekend in Terrace. Kirk won ‘A’ event on a 9-7 win over Ron Murphy
in the final.

skipped by Ron Murphy 9-7 in
the final of ‘A’ event.

In ‘A’ semi-finals, Kirk
knocked off Keith Norman
while Murphy eliminated Jeff
Davidson.

The semi-finals saw Lindstrom.
over Ken Dahms and Kawinsky
over Ivan Spletzer of Prince
Rupert.

Rand Menhinick won ‘C’
event on a 9-5 victory over Jack
Parry. Parry beat out Shaunce
Kruisselbrink while Menhinick
eliminated Rick Bennett in the
semis.

Michelle Hendry and her Si-
mon Fraser “University Clan
women’s basketball team con-
tinue to roll along with victories
in district one of the. N.A.I.A.
basketball program. ;

This past weekend saw Mich-
elle score 34 points and collect
nine rebounds in their 102-82
win over Seattle University.

Hendry did this in only 30 min-
utes playing time. It brought the
team’s record to an I Ith straight
victory, pushing their overall
mark to 19-3 and giving the Clan
a perfect division record of 9-0.

In the three years since Allison
McNeill took over as head
coach, the Clan has gone 33-1 at
home.
