We have been working with che staff, parents and local regidants to address the problem and attached is a copy of a notice we send home quarterly to our school parents. Although our efforts have been met with some success in the past, with the ever growing school population we feel we now need some a$Ssistance from the City. Briefly stated, here are our concerns and possible he ee solutions: 1. Major congestion around the school, particularly at 9 A.M. & 3 P.M., and in the evenings during sports games (1.4. softball season). 2. Speeding 3, People blocking residents’ access to wait for children, ed often not bothering to turn off their motors. 4, Engine and anti-freeze leaks in front of residents! homes. S, Double parking, thereby blocking the entire street of any kind of traffic flow. Solutions: 1. Post "Children Playing / Playground " and "School " signs to remind people to slow down. Robert Hope Park 1s adjacent ro the school and there is no sign on Humber Cres. €6 indicate this.
