Dear Sir:
Please accept the following as our proposal for the supply of Engineering Services for the
reconstruction of the traffic signals at the intersection of McAllister Avenue and Shaughnessy Street.

We have prepared this letter proposal for the provision of services consisting generally of the
following work:

gathering relevant data - Including a field survey

prepare AutoCAD drawings from information gathered

develop signal design on AutoCAD (2 drawings)

develop signal specifications for supply and installation (1 contract)
prepare draft letter specification for Econolite controller procurement
assist with tendering supply and Installation contract

provide construction inspection during construction

prepare As-Bullt drawings for installation

We estimate the Engineering Services to cost $8,500.00, including G.S T..

We are prepared to undertake this work immediately and anticipate that the design would be
completed within three weeks of the project award. Tendering would follow at the City’s

convenience,

Use of an existing City specification for the supply and installation contract (if available on disk)
would reduce the Engineering costs by approximately $1,000.00, This would be deducted from the
quoted $8,500.00. We would use this document and make minor revisions to suit this project,
