NEW BUSINESS: Alderman Ranger advised that a resident of Claudia Place had drawn to his attention various acts of vandalism occurring in the walkway between 1460 and 1461 Claudia Place, and had made the request that the walkway be closed. Alderman Ranger advised that he did not agree with this proposal and the members of Council generally supported his views in this regard and the suggestion was made that Mayor Campbell contact the R.C.M.P. and request that the police patrol this path, and others on Mary Hill, on foot in order to ceduce the various acts of vandalism occurring along these footpaths. Mayor Campbell agreed that he would ontact Inspector Young at the earliest opportunity. Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That this meeting do now adjourn. Carried. At 5:25 p.m. the meeting adjourned.
