Re: Garbage Disposal By-law

It was agreed by Council that the above-noted subject would be discussed at

the regular Council meeting to be held on November 17th, 1975 with a view to
reaching a definite decision at that time on the course of action to be followed
in order that the new garbage By-law may be processed to become effective at

the beginning of 1976.

On Thursday, November 13th, 1975 we distributed the following dcecuments to
members of Council, Mr. Pollock, and Mr. Borch:

‘1. The City Engineer's September 5th, 1975 memorandum alony with
its attachments of Draft I and Draft II of the proposed revised
Garbage By-law.

Our City Administrator's October 27th, 1975 memo concerning the
Garbage Collection and Charge system operated by the City of
Bellingham along with a copy of the Garbage Collection Contract

referred to therein.

The City Engineer's March 14th, 1975 memorandum attaching four of
the reports mentioned therein (excluding only the U.S. Environmental .

Protection Agency Reports).
