A Report to Members

from the President

Qur exhibition, "Ceramics 81", has just finished very success-
fully. 1 congratulate Marjorie Johnson and Mary Bowerman, who
were mainly responsible for organizing the show, and also the
various committee members who assissted them.

Two executive members are leaving office this year: Barbara
Barron and Laila Pettersen. They were hardworking and strong
supporters of the Guild for many years. They were unanimously
selected for the Qlea Davis annual award. I worked very
closely with them and depended on them so much; I feel I am
losing my security blanket! We will certainly miss them.

On behalf of all Guild members I wish to thank the rest of the
Executive Committee for their continuous hard work, making for
a stronger and more successful Guild. These members are as
follows: Ron White, Ronda Green, Elizabeth Reynolds, Anne
Fleetham, Barbara Stevenson, Jeanne Burns, Carol Bullen,

Ellen Zeiss, Cherie Markiewiez, Georgina Hughes.

I would like to add my thanks also to the always faithful
volunteers, whose support of the executive makes everything
possible.
