industrielle, Normand s’est ensuite spécialisé en murales et fontaines a 1’ Université de

Calgary (1986). Il a ensuite établi son studio 4 Vancouver ou il travailla en collabora-
tion avec Patrick Amyot en 87, il participa 4 une compétition de construction d’une murale
pour le congrés des Francophones de la Colombie-Britannique. II travaille présentement dans
son studio de Salt Spring Island, associant peinture, céramique et collage pour créer des oeu-
vres de dimensions et de styles variés, inspirées de certains mouvements artistiques occiden-
taux et orientaux, et témoignant de son rapport a la généreuse nature qui l’entoure. I] a par-
ticipé 4 de nombreuses expositions 4 Montréal, Québec, Vancouver, Victoria et Ganges (Salt
Spring Island).

ceramic technology, Normand also studied murals and figurine sculpture. Then, he

established himself in Vancouver and Salt Spring Island. His mixed-media work of
painting and ceramic sculpture has been widely exhibited in Quebec, Montreal, Victoria and
Vancouver galleries, as well as in Ganges (Salt Spring Island).
