Wheeler, Recreation Manager/Deputy Director SUBJECT: Sign Bylaw Exception - Intermediate/Junior/Senior Lacrosse (Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting May 4, 1992) Recommendation: That City Council waive the four week display timeline identified in Section 6.3.4(b), of the Bylaw to Regulate Signs and permit the PoCo Saints Intermediate/Junior/Senior Lacrosse leagues to laave their sign in place until the end of July, 1992. Background & Comments: The Parks & Recreation Committee considered the attached memorandum dad May 4, 1992 regarding a request received from the PoCo Sainis Int: nediate/Junior/Senior Lacrosse league to display their sign through the enc of July, 1992. This one request represents the wishes of three lacrosse organizations. The objective of this request is also consistent with the City’s dasire to encourage attendance at sporting events. In light of the above, the Parks & Recreation Committee approved the recommendation to permit the signs to remain on display umil the end of July, 1992. | tu whey iw Larry J.
