Block Watch Signage |
(Public Works Committee Meeting of September 3, 1991)

That,the Council approve the placement of six block watch signs. at the following locations:
t. Northeast corner of Mary Hill Road and Mary Hill Bypass.
"Northwest comer of Pitt River Road and Mary Hill Bypass.
Southwest comer of Lougheed Highway and Mary Hill Bypass.

Northwest comer of Lougheed Highway and Shaughnessy.

Southeast corner of Westwood and Kingsway.

South side of Pitt River Road, west of Reeve Street.

Earlier this year at the request of the RCMP, six block watch signs were made by the District of
Coquitlam and installed by Port Coquitlam at the locations shown on Plan 1. rrr

Members of Council ask that the Public Works Committee consider altemate locations for some
of the signs, notibly - a) Shaughnessy and. Lougheed, b). Shaughnessy, north of the CPR

underpass, and c) Shaughnessy at Pitt River Road. | : Be reas

> The Public Works Committee proposes to relocate three of the six signs as shown.on Plan 2, and _
