Carried. om, Alderman Laking suggested that the downtowm merchants be advised of the parking restrictions for the new Maple Street lot and Council generally agreed. From the Director of Community Planning, April 8th, 1982 regarding strata subdivision, SS#3/82, for property addressed as 3169 and 3171 Hastings Street. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Vater: That. the City Council approve permitting Lot C, Block 10 and ll, District Lot 381, Plan 2211, New Westminster District, for property addressed as 3169 and 3171 Hastings Street, to be subdivided by strata title. Carried. From the Director of Community Planning, April 13th, 1982 regarding Strata Title SS#4/82 for property addressed as 2240 Atkins Avenue. Alderman Mabbett asked that consideration of Strata Title, SS#4/82, be tabled one week to permit the Planning and Zoning Committee to study the application further and the Council generally agreed. NEW BUSINESS: Alderman Muldoon referred to a letter: from Dr. Cummings regarding "Funginex" used for the spraying of blueberries. Mayor Traboulay zuled there would be no further discussion on this topic as sufficient time had already been spent in previous Council meetings. Moved by Alderman Vater: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the actions of Alderman Muldoon regarding the spraying of "Funginex" by blueberry farmers be reported to the Minister of Municipal Affairs, the Honourable W.N. Vander Zalm, for investigation and report to Council. Defeated. Alderman Vater voted in favour of the resolution. Alderman Wright abstained from voting.
