That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, July 5th, 1978
no change be made to the traffic signal at Prairie Avenue and Shaughnessy
Street.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Laking asked that the subject be referred back to the Public
Works Committee for further study.

That the request from Council to consider possible change to the
traffic signal controller, so that it may be set on flashing during. the
night hours, be referred back to the Public Works Committee for further
study.

Alderman Mabbett stated a meeting should be held as soon as possible
with Inspector R.W. Galbraith of the Coquitlam R.C.M.P. Detachment to
discuss the traffic problem on Laurier Avenue.
