Campbell advised that a proposed By-law to 4Zoning Public ‘Hearing re amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" would B/L#1590 1659/75 Pitt now be considered: River Rd. - referred to By-law No. 1590: to rezone Pub. Info.Mtg. (a) Lot 2, Block X, District Lots 255 and 384, Group One Plan 7387, New Westminster District Parcel "A", Block X, District Lots 255 and 384, Group One, Plan 24243, New Westminster District from RS-2 (One Family Suburban Residential) to RS-1 (One Family Residential). These properties have the civic addresses of 1659 and 1675 Pitt River Road and are located on the east side of Pitt River Road and extend through to Taylor Street. It is expected that approximately 33 residential lots will be completed following completion of the rezoning procedures. The Planning Officer reviewed the proposed subdivision for the Hearing and Mr. Denis Kirk of 1614 Knappen Street, Mr. Lou Dubois of 1964 Connaught Avenue and Mr. Michael Forrest of 1620 Knappen Street commented on the proposed subdivision layout. Alderman Ranger noted the large numbers of persons present that were affected by the proposed By- law and who were unable to be accommodated in the gallery and suggested that the subject be referred to a Public Information Meeting.
