SUBJECT: INSTALLATION OF CATCHBASIN ON PATRICIA AVE. NORTH OF 3583
COAST MERIDIAN ROAD
(Public Works/Traffic Committee Meeting of August 31, 1993)

RECOMMENDATION:

That Council authorize the installation of a catchbasin on the south side of Patricia
Ave. directly north of 3583 Coast Meridian Read at an estimated cost of $4,790.00. -

That $4,790.00 be allocated from the Special Public Works $ Capital Reserve Fund
for this purpose.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

There is water ponding at the curb located on the south side of Patricia Ave. directiy north of
3583 Coast Meridian Road.

It is recommended that a catchbasin be installed on the south side of Patricia Ave. at this

location and connected with a lead to an existing storm sewer which was recently installed on
the north side of Patricia Ave. It is estimated that this work would cost $4,790.00.
