A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City
of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,
2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, June Ist, 1992, at
7330 p.m.

Mayor L.M. Trabouiay and Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk,
R.H. Talbot, and M.A. Thompson were in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh,
City Treasurer/Deputy Administrator J.C.S. Maitland, City Engineer I.R.
Zahynacz, Director of Planning C.R. Felip.

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council meeting held on
May 25th, 1992 be taken as read and adopted.

PROCLAMATIONS 3

WHEREAS The citizens of Greater Vancouver have recognized the need for
individual and group action on the part of government, industry, motorists and
the general public to improve local air quality;

AND WHEREAS The Greater Vancouver Regional District, being responsible for
regional air quality management, requests the participation of all Lower
Fraser Valley Air Basin communities in efforts to reduce air pollution,

NOW . THEREFORE I, Leonard M. Traboulay, Mayor of the Corporation of The
City of Port Coquitlam DO HEREBY PROCLAIM June 3, 1992 as

“CLEAN AIR DAY”
