October 18, 1991 Page 2 of 2 Pages 4, Amother thought is that if the daycare buys the property, I am sure they would be willing to entertain the possibility of Parks and Recreation using the building for community programs - It would make a wonderful place for Saturday children's programs. (Which takes us back to point 1 of this letter.) How many buildings of this size are left in Port Coquitlam where one could even consider using the space on a community basis? Although the daycare may not have the largest bid in monetary value, we believe that no other bidder can come close to addressing all the above points. You can be sure that the sale of this property, either for or against the daycare, will long be remembered by the parents in this community. This issue will not go away because our children will not go away. Please remember this at election time because we will.
