1.6 RECOMMENDATIONS

1.1) That the eight bus stops requested by BC Transit for the #159 Re-route via.
Citadel to Mary Hill Road be approved.

1.2) That the two bus stops requested for Pitt River Road at Harbour southbound
and northbound be approved.

1.3) That the bus stop request at Eastbound Pitt River Road at Tyner be
approved.

1.4) That $2000 be allocated towards installation of "no-stopping bus zone" signs
at the approved locations.

2.0 BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS

With the opening of Citadel Drive to Mary Hill road, BC Transit has requested an
extension of the bus route. The attached sketch indicates the eight stop locations
requested.

As well BC transit has requested two new bus stops on Pitt River and Harbour, |
northbound and southbound and one stop on eastbound Pitt River Road and
Tyner. BC Transit has receive numerous requests from residents for stops at the
Pitt River Road and Harbour locations.
