Hidden Hilis Cont'd Please note that the developer would still be required to pay for his driveway entrances off of Westwood and any service connections to storm, water or sanitary. WATERWORKS: In order to obtain proper fire flows for this property a 150mm water main must be installed on Westwood between Davies and Shaftsbury. The City requires that this main be a 200mm for the over all System. We are recommending that the City pay the upsizing material costs from the 150m to the 200mm water main at a cost of approximately $2000. Actual cost will be substantiated from the developer with two or three estimates from reputable and acceptable suppliers. The City has applied for a Provincial Cost Sharing Grant to construct a watermain along Westwood that would include the portion now being asked from the developer for completion with his subdivision. I would like to suggest that if we receive the grant before the developer needs the watermain and we are in a position to construct. it with the remainder of the watermain along Westwood, then we do so and back’ charge the--developer our actual costs, including engineering costs, minus any applicable grants.
