Study Planning Steps Description Establish Current and Potential Future Facility Requirements. This step will include meeting with the Core Committee, Wilson Centre staff, and others; reviewing demographic and other Statistics; establishing facility requirements; and reviewing the statement of requirements with the Core Committee, Assess Current Building and Site Re: Feasibility of Accommodating Expansion. This step will include identifying and assessing the engineering characteristics of the existing building (assessment to be done by engineer); preparing preliminary sketch design of expanded facilities On the current site; reviewing the expansion with City Planning staff; and reviewing findings with the Core Committee, Finalize Conceptual Planning Design and Prepare Cost Estimate. This step will include refining the conceptual planning and design (re: comments and Building Code requirements); and preparing an estimate of cost of expansicn. APP AN TPA Sat rN ae Analyze Alternative Sites and Prepare Conceptual Planning Design and Cost Estimate. ‘This step will include repeating Step 2 and carrying out Step 3a) on the alternative site. Comparative Analysis. This step will include conducting a comparison of the conceptual planning designs and costs; noting the possible impacts on Port Coquitlam; and discussing the findings with the Core Committee, Prepare Final Report. This step will include documenting the analysis, conclusions and recommendations in final report form for review; producing 10 copies for the client; and presenting the results to the Core Committee.
