Pleaso be advised that under Section 16 of the U.B.C.iL By-Laws, the
Executive has determined that ennual membership dues for 1980 will be
aesessed using the following forma and 1976 Census data, as adjusted
and confirmed by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and reported in .
"Statistics Relating ‘to Municipal and Regional Governments in B.C. -
June 1979",

for the first 5,000 population 18.6¢ per capita
for the next 10,000 13.5¢ per capita
for the next 15,000 8.54 ver capita
for all population in excess of 50,000 1.75¢ per capita

Mindioun: Memsership Dues . $170.00
The formula rerains unchanged from the 1976 and 1979 Levels.
A statement based on the above formula is attached which we trust will

be acceptable, and wa look forward once again to having your membership
in the U.3,C.™M. renewed.
