From the Public Works Committee, February 28th, 1980 recommending PWC, Feb.
28/80 re
that the proposed H.A. Roberts Subdivision west of Bedford Street be Subd. - Bedford
St.

approved subject to Bedford Street being reconstructed and paved from

the south property line to Kingsway Avenue to a full industrial standard.

From the City Engineer, February 28th, 1980 regarding proposals for City Eng.,
Feb. 28/80 re
the design of pumping stations and recommending that the design and Pumping Stas.
supervision be awarded to Associated Engineering Services Ltd. according
to the terms of the proposal dated January 3Jist, 1980 and subsequent

letter of February 27th, 1980,

That as recommended by the City Engincer, February 28th, 1980 the
design and supervision of the Dominion Avenue and Harbour Street pumping
stations be awarded to Associated Engineering Services Led. according to
the terms of the proposal dated January 31st, 1980 and subsequent letter
of February 27th, 1980.

Carried.
Alderman Keryluk voted against the resolution.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution discussion ensued on
the cost and percentages Involved and Alderman Keryluk stated he differed
with the Committee's recommendation due to the uncertainties tnvolved in

the proposal made by Associated Engineerings Services Led.

letter from Pacifle Coach Lines Ltd. enclosing a current bus sehedule. Pacifie Coach

Lines.

Alderman Keryluk stated in his opinion che service is not good enough
for vhe people. Mayor Laking stated he would contact the Pactffe Coach

Lines regarding changing back to the old system.
