A Bylaw to repeal Bylaw No. 1886 and amend the “Rezoning Application Fee

WHEREAS, on the 15th day of March, 1982 the “Rezoning Application Fee Bylaw,

1979, No. 1666, Amendment Bylaw, 1982, No. 1886" was reconsidered, finally passed

and adopted;

AND WHEREAS the rezoning application fees revised and instituted by the said

Bylaw No. 1886 were incorrectly calculated; ‘

AND WHEREAS it. is desired to correct the error and institute a corrected fee
schedule;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
Le The “Rezoning Application Fee Bylaw, 1979,.No. 1666, Amendment Bylaw, 1982,

1886" is repealed.

2. Sub-clauses (i) and (ii) of clause (a) of Section 1 of the “Rezoning Application
Fee Bylaw, 1979, No. 1666" as those clauses stood before the enactment of Bylaw No.
1886 are repealed and the following substituted:

(i) A non-refundable fee calculated at the rate of:

(a) $20.00 per-100 sq. metres (1,076.43 square feet)-

for the first 500 square metres (5,382.13 square feet)

of site area included in the said application; arid
{b) ..$5.00 per 100 sq. metres (1,076.43 square feet) for

all additional site area included in the said application;
PROVIDED that the minimum fee shall be $100.00; ‘and

(ii) A fee of $600.00 which shall be refundable if the Council declined to

advance the application to Public Hearing.

3. This Bylaw may be Gited for all purposes as the "Rezoning Application Fee

Bylaw, 1979, No. 1666, Amendment Bylaw, 1982, No. 1895".
