Hobenshield, David Letnes, Ja-
son Katz. Laid to rest Cedarvale
Cemetery (north side Skeena
River). ; ;

Edith came to Cedarvaie,
B.C., in 1913 where she lived all
her tife. At the age of 15, she
operated Cedarvale General
Store and Post Office for her fa-
ther and at that tine became
assistant Post Master.

She is greatly missed by her
sisters Lillian Haapala of Castle-
gar B.C., Dorothy (Ken) Reid of
Vancouver; brother William
Thompson of Vancouver, B.C.;
sister-in-law Svea Thompson;
nieces and nephews. Prede-
ceased by her husband Bill Es-
Sex, :

Daniel Orville Spencer
1951-1996

Dan was born and raised
as the 3rd oldest In the family
of five.

His name was Dan but was
warmly known as ‘Danny
Bay,’ ‘Dan-O’, ‘Danny Boone’
and ‘Dan the man’,

He lovad Terrace but when
he moved to the Nass with
wife Vivian in 1976 he espe-
cially faved his place along
the Tseax.

Dan will be remembered by
family and friends and his
neighbour of Alyansh for his
generosity, his enthuslasm,
willingness and sense of
humour.

Dan was predeceased by
his father Orvilla Spenser in
1991. He is survived by his
wife Vivian (Mama bear) and
sons Shane and Ayan. His
mother Florence Spancer,
sisters Bea Thain-Kinkead
(Stan), Trudy Procyk (John),
brothers Ben (Laura) and
Robert (Debbie), niecas and
nephews.
