Gunfire leads to arrests

POLICE ARRESTED three Suspects at about 3:30 a.m. Jan. 15 in the

A Terrace man was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon
dangerous to the public peace, and careless use of a firearm.

-RCMP said they scized a 44 magnum rifle at the scene, The man will
appear in court Feb. 4.

Suspect caught after bike chase

_ A BIKE CHASE around midnight on Saturday, Jan. 15 ended in the
caplure and arrest of a male suspect for drug possession.

RCMP officers spotted three males in a back alley behind Tolsee and
approached fo question them.

The three fled on bikes and a chase ensued that ended when officers
in cars apprehended one suspect at the corner of Greig Ave. and Ottawa
St.

Police seized what appeared to be eight grams of marijuana, said

Kamloops men charged

TWO KAMLOOPS-area men face drug trafficking charges after po-
lice seized an estimated $10,000 worth of marijuana.

The two were arrested Jan. 5 on a routine traflic stop by Terrace high-
way patrol members.

Const. Rick Shaw said a large quantity of marijuana was seized, as

well as some cash.
