-2- THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as followa: 1. A £rontage tax snall be and is hereby imposed and levied upon che Parcels of land set forth in Column I of Schedule "A" of this By-law, which said Schedule is attached hereto and forms a part hereof. 2, The frentage tax shall be levied each year for a period of ten (10) years, as provided by the "Local coprovenent Charge By-law, 1969, No. 912", as amended, commencing in the year 1981 and shali be collected annually by the Collector of the City at the ‘same time and in the same manner as other an@sal rates and taxes, and shall be subject to the same penalties for non-payment and the amount thereof, except as otherwise provided, will be the product of the taxable foot-frontage and the annual rate. 3. The annual rate shall be $2.50 per front foot of taxable foot~-frontage as provided by the "Local Improvement Charge By-law, 1969, No. 912", as amended, 4. The frontage tax imposed herein shall, save ag directed by the Court of Revision, be imposed on the respective parcels in the manner set, £ #hea pared forth in Column It of Schedule "A" opposite the descriztien of th parcel in Column I. 5. The frontage tax colleczed as aforesaid shall be paid into the Local Improvement Fund of the City. 6. The provisions of the "Local Improvement Charge By-law, 1969, No. 912" as amended, shall apply to this By-law with respect to the commutation of the annual frontage tax. ; ot 7. The Collector shall ‘forthwith prepare a Frontage Tax Assessment Roll in respect of the hereinbefore described parcels in accordance with the provisions of the "Municipal Act" and the "Local Improvement Charge By-law, 1869, No. 912", as amended, which said Assessment Roll shall, from time to time, be revised by the Collector in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act. “ 8.° This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the “Langan Avenue Pavement, Storm Sewer, and Concrete Curb, and Gutter Local Improvement Asses 3sment By-law, 1981, No. 1798".
