nouncement of the purchase of a

hardball franchise in- the
Bulkley Valley. Hardball
League. and following a

player work-out last Sunday,
Red L'Estrange has signed his
first three players and a
manager for the team:

travelled south for provincial
final competition. .

As well he served as president
of the Tertace Minor Baseball
Association from 1969-1970 and
has umpired, for the last- five
years, Colin is also familiar to
those-of “you who follow
basketball in Terrace, both as a
referee and as an ardent fan of
Uhe sport. , ne

all infielders, (third baseman
Dave Hamilton, short-step and

‘pitcher Larry Paulson and

ulility-man Garry L’Estrange.

Hamilton, a {7 year old
student is a right handed batter
with eleven years of minor ball
behind him.’ In the 1971 season
he was a member of the pony
team that won the Zone 5 finals. .
He’s also involved with hockey,
soccer, track’ and field and
cross country running, He's

country championship. teams,
two track championship teams,
was the winner of the juvenile
grand aggregate trophy al the
High School zone track meet
last year and has twice been on

Paulson, at 18, is the oldest of
