Damages $ 400 Industrial Hydro Pole Inhalator calls Patients transported Firemen attended Man hours Firemen off sick Volunteers paged 4 times Fireman off for 15 days on compensation. Total damages - $6, 400 Approximately $4,500 damage to home caused by cooking fat spilled onto a hot element. Slight damage to bedroom when drapes were burned possible cause a lighted cigarette. $500 damage to car possibly caused by blow back of carburator. $500 to car engine compartment caused by leaking gasolene line. Little or no damage to fire in a mill caused by a welder torch and no damage to a wood working shop when a sawdust hopper caught fire from spark from a dull saw blade. $400 damage to a motel room when distrubed lady lite the bed on fire. Many nuisance calls, mostly garbage containers, newpaper boxes, ‘wooden structures in parks and even an advertising banner on the underpass. 59 Inhalator calls 38 home emergencies consisting of heart attacks, strokes, asthmatic attacks, intoxication, convulsions and falls causing injuries. Attended 9 motor vehicle accidents, 2 sports accidents, 3 different people who had fallen on the street or sidewalk, two people hit by cars in separate accidents, rescued a childs finger from a barbacue and "C" Shift delivered a bouncing baby girl on route to hospital!
