Gill, 1086 Prairie Avenue, Port Coquitlam, appeared in Coquitlam Provincial Court on July 20, 1979 charged under by-law 1651 Illegal Suite, he pleaded guilty to the charge in front of Judge Ivor “Brahaug, and was fined $200.00 and to pay sane forthwith. My investigation in this case showed that Mr. Gill, had stated to the tennant living in the basement, prior to his occupancy that his suite was legal, and that all inspections had been carried out by the City, when in Fact this was not true. This was pointed out to the Court in my Summary. Mr. Ben Chan of 3651 Hughes Street will appear in.Court in August 9, 1979, charged under zoning By-law 1681, Illegal Suite.
